It started the way most good things do — with someone we didn't want to disappoint.

In 2025, our founder Siddharth was staring at his screen at 2 AM, trying to find a birthday gift for someone who mattered deeply to him. Everything felt the same: flowers that wilt in three days, chocolates that disappear in one, gift cards that say "I didn't know what to get you." Nothing felt like them. Nothing carried the inside jokes, the shared photos, the things only the two of them would understand.

So instead of buying something, he built something. A tiny web page — their photos, a countdown, a message that unfolded like a letter, a little puzzle that revealed a memory at the end. He sent the link at midnight.

The reaction wasn't just "thank you." It was a phone call, half laughing, half crying — "How did you make this? Nobody has ever done something like this for me."

Within weeks, friends were asking Siddharth to build the same thing for their partners, parents and best friends. A birthday here, an anniversary there, one very desperate apology. Every single time, the reaction was the same — because the gift wasn't the web page. The gift was the feeling of being seen.

That's when OurMoments was born: a simple idea that anyone, anywhere in India, should be able to create that same magic in minutes — no coding, no design skills, just love and a few photos. Today, thousands of surprises, puzzles and heartfelt moments are created on OurMoments and opened with the same laughing-crying phone calls that started it all.
